About The Belmonte Trio

Founded in 2009, The award winning Belmonte Trio brings together the artistry of three prominent Philadelphia-based musicians: violinist Jennifer K. Lee, cellist Glenn Fischbach and pianist Robert Durso.

The players continue the tradition of fine ensemble playing learned from their famed mentors Duo Cavallo-Gulli at the Indiana University School of Music and the rich string tradition of the Curtis Institute of Music and the Philadelphia Orchestra.

The trio first debuted at a gala concert held at The Church of the Holy Trinity on Philadelphia’s historic Rittenhouse Square and is currently engaged for several concerts on both the East and West coasts.

The Belmonte Trio has appeared at numerous other venues including: The Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial and The Trinity Center for Urban Life in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Frederick College in Frederick, Maryland; Florida College in Temple Terrace, Florida; Friday Musicale Club of Jacksonville, Florida; The First United Church of Christ in Reading, Pennsylvania; and Saint James Episcopal Church in Farmington, Connecticut.
